Our second FREE youth Soccer clinic at Garfield Park was a huge success. It was even better than the first event. we would like to personally thank Attorney Michael Urban and The Urban Law Firm for their gracious support. The law firm is one of our organizations early supporters and Mr. Urban is passionate about changing the lives of Chicago Youth. We are in the process of planning our next event for the Youth as apart of our back to school initiative. Atypical Sports & Learning Foundation, Inc. + WNBA  Event Recap

We attended the Chicago Sky basketball game of the WNBA, July 2, 2013 at 7pm in Rosemont as they took on the Seattle Storm on ESPN.  We had a great time and really enjoyed the game.  Thanks to the Chicago Sky Organization for making this possible! We are really thankful! The Kids enjoyed themselves!

1st Annual Whitney M. Young Alumni Winter Coat & Glove Drive

Saturday November 2, 2013, noon-4,  at 211 S. Laflin

Come out and support a good cause in helping us gather winter coats and gloves for those in need. Calling all past, current and Former Dolphins to come together and support this good cause. Come watch former Whitney Young Men's basketball players compete in the First Annual Alumni Game along with a special performance by Whitney Young Alumni Cheerleaders.The game tips at 12:30, early arrival is suggested because this event will be packed. Come reunite and reconnect with former classmates in support of a good cause. We look forward to seeing you there!!!!

2013 Back-to-School Picnic and Parade

Saturday August 17, 2013 at 10Am on Chicago's westside

Come join us at Congressman Danny K. Davis' 2013 Back-to-School Picnic and Parade at 10am. The Parade will begin at 10:00am on Chicago's Westside at Bloomingdale and Central and the picnic begins at 1:00pm at Columbus Park which coincides with the Taste of Austin. Khirey J. Floyd signs to Play professional Basketball In Estonia!!!! 

One of our Founders, Khirey J. Floyd will have the chance to follow his dream of playing professional basketball. After many trials and tribulations, his dream is being realized. Khirey graduated from Concordia University in River Forest in the Spring of 2013 and is looking forward to traveling the world at the expense of basketball. We would like to thank Khirey for his work with Atypical Sports & Learning Foundation, Inc. We wish him many blessings on his quest to follow his dreams.
