Special thanks to the creator of our logo, Johnathan Gaines, a 2012 communication design graduate of Southern Illinois University. Gaines is an inner-city Chicago native who thoroughly enjoyed art and sports as a child. Today, Gaines is pursuing his passion in art and design. Growing up and currently living amongst "at-risk" youth in inner-city Chicago,  Gaines knows how easy it is to get caught up in a life with no hope when children dont have mentors or resources. Gaines understands the value of sport and the human qualities it instills, such as, discipline, teamwork and work-ethic.Gaines also values the importance of exposing our youth to multiple sports as a vehicle to increase academic achievement.  He expects the foundation to make a huge impact.
